Bow.. Wow.. Whoa!

I heard a lot of noise & saw fireworks yesternight and

wondered wazzup with these funny humans! 

.

I saw the sun dawn like any day today, but

didn't even see half of the yakking daily walkers! 

.

I said hi to the flower  dancing in wind  like any day today,
unnoticed as ever by busy drivers & riders! 

.

I went around looking for food like any day today &

found the same few benevolent ones feeding those like me! 

.

I saw cars, bikes & trucks speeding past like any day today,

not bothered about crushing me or my pals! 

.

I sighed & looked for shade to rest like any day today,

not knowing which tree will be chopped next! 

.

My day remains the same, like any other day, 

whether it was yesterday, today or tomorrow & 

I'm doing fine on just any day! 

.

My friends, feeders & stone pelters in neighbourhood

remain the same everyday & 

that too looks fine on just any day! 

.

I wonder how humans, living a joyless Life of routine, 

get together & make noise outside on only a few days 

but remain detached & indifferent on all other days! 

.

bow wow wow  bow wow how  bow wow whoa! 

.

~ Reminiscences of 1 of the 10 or so anonymous stray dogs living near JeyachandranNagar 6th Main Road, Pallikkaranai in Chennai, that remains thankful to the lady who walks her 2 beautiful 4-legged daughters (she calls the white one as Mylo & golden one as Maggy) every night & always feeds me & the neighborhood dogs at that time.

P.S.2. Swamy listened to that friendly neighbourhood 4-legged fella lament on New Year day (today) about the funny species called humans, after the noisy Happy New Year 2016 all night revelry in the apartments dotting the neighbourhood!

உளன் வான் வெளிர்நீல வெளியில்.
இலன் கரு மேகக் கவர்வில்!

உளன் பறவை கரை ஒலியில்.
இலன் இறகு மடித்தொரு கிளையில்!

உளன் நாக மெடு படத்தில்.
இலன் உதிர் இலை மறைவில்!

உளன் விரி மலர் மணத்தில்.
இலன் வாடி வீசிய கூளத்தில்!

உளன் உண்ணும் முன் இலையில்.
இலன் உண்ட பின் உள்வயிற்றில்!

உளன் வளர்ந்து சுருங்கும் உடலில்.

இலன் எரிந்து கரையும் தழலில்!

இலன் அடையாப் பொருளில்.

இலன் அடங்கா ஆசையில்.

இலன் அழியாப் பகையில்.

இலன் இரங்கா மனத்தில்.

இலன் ஈயாச் செல்வத்தில்.

இலன் உடல் சார் உறவில்.

இலன் உயிர் நோக்கா உணர்வில்.

உளன் தீ உள் விரல்விடில்.
உளன் தீப ஜோதி வடிவில்.
உளன் ஜோதி தரும் ஒளியில்.
உளன் ஒளி பரவும் வெளியில்.
உளன் வெளி தாண்டிய விரிவில்!

உளன் கதிரில், காற்றில், நீரில்.
உளன் பறவை, பாம்பு, மலரில்.
உளன் உன்னில், என்னில், யாவில்.
உளன் ஐம்பொறி தாண்டிய உணர்வில்!

உளன் எனில் உளன்.
உளம் தனில் அருளை உணர்ந்தோர்க் கென்றும்...
உளன் அவருள் உளன்!

அறியா, தெரியா, புரியா தவர்க்கும்,
அருள்மழை அயரா தனைவர்க்கும் பொழியும்...

என் குருநாதன், சத்குரு நாதன்,

Just one more object, you once again long, 

Even if the loved ones do say it's wrong.

May this Day show...

Objects come & go, but Love lasts as strong!

Just one more time, you indulge that puff,

Making all those sane, leave you in a huff.

May this Day clear...

The cloud of smoke and call your sickly bluff!

Just one more bite, you crave for the spicy,

Knowing fully well, your health could be dicey.

May this Day clean...

The toungue tied appetite that makes wellness pricey!

Just one more swig, you thirst for more pegs,

Even as your sense, pleads to stop & begs.

May this Day wash...

The moronic pull that pushes you to kegs!

Just one more snooze, you pause that alarm,

Even as flying birds chirp and rays of Sun swarm.

May this Day light...

The will to wake up and walk, making the heart warm!

Just one more curse, you bark, rile and blame,

Knowing that rage will bring you more shame.

May this Day cool...

The lava of anger that blocks you from Mount Fame!

Just one more lie, you tell casually to win,

Masking the truth with a sugary little spin.

May this Day peel...

The hurtful facade away, and throw it into the bin!

Just one more menace, you ignore that stray,

Knowing its unconditional love, never goes astray.

May this Day cure...

The apathy to care, so you can empathize before you gray!

Just one more wish, you bow, pray and ask,

As many do, and turn the creator to a master of task.

May this Day bless...

The wishers a will to act, so in glory they can bask!

Just one more day, you spend again like in the past,

Even as Life blooms, trots, wafts, flies around so fast.

May this Day set...

The inner spark alight, so the rest of Life isn't so aghast!

Just one more routine, you go through the grind and brace,

As purposeless ambition & pointless competition suck Joy away sans trace.

The inner self alight, and shower you with boundless Grace!
